Panasonic adds two new MFT lenses

Panasonic has added two new Micro Four Thirds lens options to their growing line-up, with the new Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. and Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 LL ASPH. lenses.

The Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 II is designed to be super compact, much like their GM-series of ILC cameras; including the new GM5. This new lens offers a 28mm equivalent field of view, with a fast f/2.5 maximum aperture. It's comprised of 6 lenses in 5 groups, including 3 aspherical lenses, and measures just 20.5mm.

For those who are looking for a bit more zoom, the new Lumix G Vario 35-100mm lens has you covered. With a 35mm equivalent focal range of 70-200mm, it offers a nice mid telephoto coverage that is great for portraits, close-up photography, etc. With their proven MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) system, you can be confident that your hand-held photos will be sharp and free of blur from camera shake.

Pricing and availability is to be announced at a later date.
