Panasonic Unveils Several New Digicams

• LUMIX DMC-ZS3 and DMC-ZS1 - Both models offer a generous 12x optical zoom lens and 10-megapixels of resolution. The ZS3 includes HD video recording in "AVCHD Lite" format, Face Recognition technology, and a 3.0-inch LCD, while the ZS1 offers a smaller 2.7-inch LCD, and Panasonic's standard movie recording options.
• LUMIX DMC-TS1 - The TS1 is Panasonic's first waterproof, shockproof and dustproof digital camera, and offers 12-megapixels of resolution, a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR 4.6x optical zoom lens, and also features "AVCHD Lite" High Definition (HD) video recording capabilities.
• LUMIX DMC-FX580 - Another first for Panasonic, the FX580 is their first Lumix digital camera to offer a touchscreen LCD. This compact digicam also boasts a 25mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC 5x optical zoom lens with F2.8 brightness, 12-megapixels, Face Recognition, and High Definition (1280x720p) motion videos at 30 fps.
• LUMIX DMC-FS25 - This ultra-compact model features 12-megapixels, a 29mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR 5x optical zoom lens, 3.0-inch intelligent LCD and is the top-of-the-line model in Panasonic's FS-series.
• LUMIX DMC-FX48 - The FX48 is also an ultra-compact 12-megapixel model with a 25mm ultra-wide-angle LEICA DC 5x optical zoom lens, Face Recognition, Intelligent Auto (iA) mode, HD (1280x720p) motion video at 30 fps, and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
