Panasonic DMC-TZ1, Slim 10X Zoom Camera

SECAUCUS, N.J. (Feb. 14, 2006) – Panasonic introduces the new DMC-TZ1, the world’s smallest 10x optical zoom camera. A powerful 10x optical zoom Leica DC lens with MEGA Optical Image Stabilization is incorporated into a compact, easy-to-carry camera. The TZ1 is a high-performance 5-megapixel camera that features a High Sensitivity mode with a maximum sensitivity setting of ISO 1600. It also has a large 2.5-inch color LCD and can capture both VGA and wide-aspect (848x480) VGA motion video at 30 fps. The TZ1 will be available in March with an MSRP of US.95.
