Panasonic Announces New NV-MPX5 Printer

Somehow we missed this one but the Imaging-Resource didn't.

Panasonic has announced a new NV-MPX5 dye sublimation printer to be available September 1st.   It accepts MultiMediaCards (the format used in Panasonic video cameras) and can handle images up to 3072 x 2048 pixels (6 megapixel) in size. Images are resized to a maximum of 1024 x 1450 pixels in the unit, and printed at a resolution of 306 dpi. The printer can also be connected to a PC, or can capture still images from video signals, and has titling and calendar capabilities.
