Pacific Image introduces PrimeFoto 2.0 for Creating CDs

Pacific Image Electronics, Torrance, Calif., USA, announces PrimeFoto 2.0, the latest version of a product that creates CDs from photos stored on digital camera memory cards. PrimeFoto 2.0 now includes an orientation feature that rotates pictures for users whose digital cameras have an auto rotation function. Users can also now generate picture albums from a CD. Multiple languages are now supported, including English, Spanish, French, Chinese and Finnish.

Users can personalize CDs by adding voice memos, music, or both. PrimeFoto 2.0 can be used connected to a television for viewing or as a standalone unit; there is no need for a computer. A range of memory card formats, including CF I/II, Microdrive, SD, MMC, SM, MS, MS pro, MS duo and xD (optional -- adapter required), can be used.

CDs created using PrimeFoto 2.0 are DVD quality (704-by-480) and viewable on DVD Players. Viewers can select the slide show to see the images played in 4-second intervals. The digital photo album mode allows the viewer to click forward and backward through the images using the remote control from their DVD player.

PrimeFoto is available from the company's website for .99 or from www.costco.com for .99.
