Topping the pile of cameras that we have reviewed in the last two weeks is the Nikon D1X, the long-awaited successor to the hugely popular D1 pro SLR. The D1X lives up to the hype and delivers incredible six-megapixel images with vastly improved color rendition and a new and very user friendly interface. And the best part is that even though it has twice the resolution it has been priced lower than the D1 when it was first introduced.
