Optrix Releases a Sport Mount for iPhones and iPods

A camera mount may not seem like the most exciting thing in the world, but it's the humble mount that's responsible for securing and protecting a camera during extreme sports. Without that mount, the first-person view would be impossible, or at least fairly difficult, to capture.

Those mounts and the cameras they tend to use don't come cheap, which is why Oprtix has created the HD Sport. Instead of having to pick up new gear, you can simply use your iPhone or iPod Touch. Just pop the phone in, start your recording and have fun.

The Oprtix HD Sport mount was made for the iPhone 4, iPhone 4s and iPod Touch 4G. It features a waterproof case with a membrane lining that lets you continue to use your phone while keeping it protected. The Optrix HD Sport is available for now for $79.
