Olympus Unveils Two Powerful New Digital Cameras

Early this morning Olympus announced two new digital cameras, the Tough TG-810 and the SZ-30MR compact Super-Zoom. Both models offer some very appealing features, whether you're looking for a pocket-sized camera with a broad zoom range, or a go-anywhere, lifeproof model.

Some of these feature on the SZ-30MR include a fast 16-megapixel CMOS image sensor, 24x wide optical zoom lens, Dual image stabilization, a 3.0-inch LCD screen, and 1080p HD video recording to name a few. The TG-810 is waterproof down to 33 feet underwater, shockproof from a drop up to 6.6 feet, and freezeproof down to 14 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 degrees Celsius), along with offering dustproof and crushproof specifications. It's also packed with 14-megapixels, a 3.0-inch LCD, 5x optical zoom, built-in GPS functionality, and various exposure modes and Magic Art filters. 

Availability is scheduled for next month (April, 2011), and both models will have suggested retail prices of $399.99 US.
