Olympus has announced several new additions to its photography gear lineup. The upcoming collection includes the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO Lens, the M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20, the FL-700WR Electronic Flash, the Wireless Commander FC-WR, and the Wireless Receiver FR-WR.

First up, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO is a super telephoto zoom lens designed for use with the Micro Four Thirds System standard. The lens features a light and compact form factor, along with a dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof (14°F / -10°C) construction. In addition, the device includes an integrated 1.25x teleconverter, offering extended support for a focal length range of 300-1000mm (35mm equivalent).

Pricing has not been revealed yet, but the new lens is expected to launch in 2020.

And to complement the upcoming telephoto zoom lens, Olympus has also announced the separate M.Zuiko Digital 2x Teleconverter MC-20. This device can double the focal length and maximum shooting magnification of the master lens it's used with. Likewise, the unit also features a dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof (14°F / -10°C) design. The teleconverter will be compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm F4.0 IS PRO, M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F2.8 PRO, and the new M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO lens.

An MSRP has not been specified yet, but the device is set to be released this summer.

Meanwhile, the FL-700WR is a new wireless high-performance electronic flash designed for the OM-D system. The unit features a dustproof, splashproof, and freezeproof (14°F / -10°C) design, along with radiowave-shooting capabilities, allowing the device to act as a commander or flash with built-in receiver. The flash is rated for a maximum guide number of 42 (ISO 100/m), and is capable of full flash power after charging for around 1.5 seconds, enabling support for sequential flash photography at 10 fps. A Multi-Flash Mode is also supported, along with High Res Shot, Focus Stacking, and Focus Bracketing compatibility when paired with camera models that offer those features.

The FL-700WR will be available in February for an MSRP of $399.99.

The FC-WR is capable of connecting to three different groups and an unlimited number of flash units. In addition, the device allows customers to select which group they want to fire and do not want to fire, along with the ability to adjust the flash intensity. Meanwhile, the FR-WR includes a sync terminal that can connect to commercial flash units, enabling users to remotely fire them using wireless radiowave communication.

The FC-WR Wireless Radiowave Flash Commander ($349.99) and the FR-WR Wireless Radiowave Flash Receiver ($229.99) will both be available in February.
