Olympus Releases New PEN Series Firmware Update

Olympus has just announced a new firmware update for their Digital PEN models, the
E-P1,
E-P2, and
E-PL1. This new update will be available on the 22nd of this month (April 2010), and includes the following improvements:
- Enhanced AF performance in all three models; depending upon the lens one can expect at least a 15% increase in AF speed
- Improved continuous AF tracking in both Still and Video modes on the E-P2 and E-PL1
- Added functionality when using the VF-2 EVF on the E-P2 and E-PL1; You now have the ability to display the Menus and review images on the LCD instead of the VF-2.
