Olympus Australia Tells Cell Phone Photographers to Get a Real Camera

More and more cell phone companies are pushing their phone cameras as replacements for a trusty point-and-shoot. More importantly, people are buying the hype and ditching separate cameras and opting for their phones instead.

There's a new ad campaign in Australia that's targeted directly at these cell phone photographers. Ads say things like "If your camera also sends text messages, that will explain why your photos are rubbish," and point to the site GetARealCamera.com, which transfers you over to the Olympus Australia site.

As cell phone cameras improve, it seems like we'll be able to expect more of this in the near future.
