Olympus has issued a firmware update for the C8080 Wide Zoom that fixes an AF malfunction problem or the camera buttons getting locked up and also now properly displays the focal length in 35mm equivalent in the Exif file data. Olympus has also released a firmware update for the digital E1 SLR that corrects a problem with a communication error when the lens aperture value was changed with the Camera Control module of Olympus Studio software.
