Olympus Japan Announces SP-700 with 3-Inch LCD

Announced today in Japan and Europe is the new SP-700 which has Olympus?s largest LCD to date with its 3-inch HyperCrystal Sunshine LCD, 6.0 million pixel imager and a precision 3x zoom lens (equivalent to 38-114mm in 35mm format), the SP-700 ensures that users are able to easily capture, view and share their high quality images with friends. It's housed in a streamlined and lightweight metal body. The Olympus SP-700 will be available in time for Christmas 2005. It is not currently scheduled for sale here in the U.S. or Canada.
