Olympus Details OM-D E-M5 Mark III Mirrorless Camera

Olympus has revealed the newest addition to its collection of OM-D cameras, the OM-D E-M5 Mark III. Pre-orders are now live via B&H Photo-Video for $1,199. In addition, a Bundle with a 14-150mm Lens is also available for pre-order for $1,499.

Packing many many of the same features found in the company's high-end OM-D models into a compact, lightweight, and weathersealed Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera body, the new Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III is designed to blend powerful performance and portability.

Under the hood, the camera features a 20.4MP Live MOS Sensor and TruePic VIII image-processing engine with a sensitivity range up to ISO 25600. In addition, the device utilizes a 5-Axis Image Stabilization unit with up to 5.5 EV steps of compensation (6.5 EV steps with Sync IS). 121-point all-cross type On-chip Phase Detection AF is integrated as well, along with up to 10 fps continuous shooting capabilities with a mechanical shutter or up to 30 fps shooting with an electronic shutter.

Meanwhile, when it comes to video, the camera supports C4K 24p, UHD 4K at up to 30 fps, Full HD 30 fps, All-Intra and Full HD 60p recording. Finally, a 2.36m-Dot 0.67x-Magnification OLED EVF is also included, along with a 3.0" 1.04m-Dot Vari-Angle Touchscreen.
