October 2009 Photo of the Day Winners Chosen

Over the weekend we announced our October 2009 PotD Winners. Picking last month's recipients was difficult to say the least, as we received hundreds of high-quality submissions.

We appreciate everyone's participation, and want to remind you that photos that were not chosen are stockpiled, so even though you didn't see your entry last month, there is a possibility it could be chosen for a daily PotD winner later on down the road.
