Nikon Updates Coolpix P100 and ViewNX Software
A pair of updates came out of Nikon
today - one for the Coolpix P100 superzoom camera and the other for
the company's ViewNX software.ViewNX version 2.1.2 is for Windows users only and fixes an error with the My Picturetown functionality. A previous update corrupted the display for some users, but the latest patch resolves that. It can be found and downloaded here.
The update to the Coolpix P100 brings the firmware up to version 1.2. The patch resolves some fairly significant issues where the LCD display would either appear blank or display with a significant amount of noise. You can find the update to the P100 here.
