nikon_D3100_front_left_550.jpgEarly this morning Nikon announced yet another powerful dSLR, the D3100. While this is their new entry-level offering, the D3100 is packed with powerful features. These include a 14-megapixel CMOS image sensor, full 1080p HD video, full-time AF in Live View and Movie modes, 3.0-inch LCD, 11-point AF system, advanced Face Detection (recognizes up to 35 faces), and much more. The D3100 dSLR camera kit will start hitting shelves mid next month (September, 2010), and comes with Nikon's AF-S NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR stabilized lens for $699.95 US.
