Nikon Exhibits Its Entire Line at PhotoPlus Expo

MELVILLE, N.Y. (Oct. 20, 2008) PhotoPlus Expo Booth 501 – Nikon Inc. will exhibit at the 2008 PhotoPlus Expo to spotlight its entire line of industry-leading imaging solutions and accessories, and offer attendees the rare opportunity to interact with some of photographic history’s greatest icons. Attendees may visit Nikon at Booth 501 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from Thursday, Oct. 23 through Saturday, Oct. 25 to experience the newest imaging products and help Nikon celebrate the 75th Anniversary of world-class NIKKOR optics. Additionally, show-goers can listen to the inspiring words of famous photographers, including a special session with legendary photojournalist Bill Eppridge.

Nikon’s latest digital SLR success, the D90, will be a leading attraction at the Nikon booth with a complete hands-on demonstration area open to the public. Nikon will also show its full line of COOLPIX compact digital cameras, including the speedy, Wi-Fi enabled S610c, the P6000 with built-in GPS, and the P80 ultra-zoom camera. Nikon will highlight the complete digital imaging system of products and accessories, demonstrating the total solution made available to Nikon photographers and imaging professionals. The Nikon booth will also feature the entire line of the D series D-SLRs, NIKKOR lenses and Coolscan desktop digital film scanners.

Nikon is also proud to present “Over 50 Years of Photojournalism” with legendary photographer Bill Eppridge. Pulitzer Prize winning AP and CNN correspondent Peter Arnett will host as Eppridge discusses his storied career spanning more than five decades. This event will take place Friday, Oct. 24, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the PDN Theater in the Javits Convention Center. Attendance is limited to 300 people on a first come, first serve basis.
