Newer Technology, Inc. Announces Two New USB Removable Storage Card Readers And SCSI-to-USB Converter
Macworld Expo Booth #1507, SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- NewerŪ Technology, Inc., the largest supplier of Power Mac and PowerBook enhancement products, today announced two new removable memory readers and a SCSI connectivity adapter for USB systems. The Compact Flash reader or uFlash-CF and SmartMedia reader or uFlash-SM function like any removable media, but transfer files 80 times faster than by using a serial cable directly from device to computer. The new uSCSI allows users to connect existing SCSI devices such as hard disks, CD-ROMs and tape drives to USB-equipped computers.
