New Tool Searches the Net For Photos Taken with Your Camera

If you've had your camera stolen, you know that getting it back can be a pain. Tracking it down is nearly impossible and knowing the serial number can only get you so far. If someone steals it and keeps it for personal use, having the serial number is pointless. Until Now.

A new tool called, simply enough, StolenCameraFinder, takes the serial number stored in your photo and searches the web for photos taken with that same camera. If you find pictures taken by someone else, you're one step closer to getting your camera back.

StolenCameraFinder works by simply dragging and dropping jpeg photos to the webpage. If you don't have a photo handy, you can type in the serial number manually.
