If you've noticed some issues when shooting with your Coolpix P90 you're not alone. According to Nikon, some rare cases have cropped up where images weren't being recorded correctly.

Luckily, there's a new firmware update that should take care of that for you.

Keep in mind, when you're upgrading the firmware for the P90, you'll need to transfer all of your images from the camera's internal memory, since the firmware update will wipe the slate clean.

Modifications and improvements provided by v1.1:

  • An issue that, in some rare cases, prevented accurate recording of images captured without interruption in single shooting mode with manual focus and Distortion control enabled has been resolved.
