The Magic Bracket is the only custom bracket1 for the Coolpix 995, with a quick-flip adjustment from landscape to portrait position. Another very useful feature of the Magic Bracket is the flash - lens Sync? this allows you to use the unique Swivel lens of your Coolpix even in conjunction with your external flash? great for over head, or low to ground shooting!
The Magic Bracket is also the only bracket with two landscape positions? the standard position is directly over the lens; the 'over-grip' position moves the flash over the camera's hand grip? perfect for well-balanced, single-handed shooting!
The Magic Bracket is available in both a Standard and a Pro version and is designed for the Coolpix 990 & 995. The Pro version includes the Magic Grip which offers a very steady and secure grip for your left hand, a threaded keeper location for Flash terminal cap, plus a 1/4" W20 (UNC) accessory mount. The Magic Grip can be removed and added as required with its simple thumb-screw.
The Pro version is preferred since its extra features are well worth the small price difference? however the Magic Grip can be purchased at a later date. The Magic Bracket is very reasonably priced, especially considering the benefit and value to the keen photographer of its many advanced features.
