New iMove Photo Seaming Software Offers Unprecedented Capabilities for Creating Spherical Panoramas
PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 10 -- iMove(TM) Photo Panorama software incorporates innovative editing tools to stitch together and accurately align multiple photographs used to create high-resolution cylindrical and spherical panoramas. These proprietary tools, designed for professional photographers and content developers, let users specify opacity, focal length and horizon; adjust artifacts using control points; and determine image-layering priority. The iMove software license allows photographers to create unlimited numbers of panoramas without royalties.
Kaidan, the leading manufacturer and supplier of photographic VR solutions, worked with iMove to jointly develop and market the iMove Photo Panorama Solution. It is the only product on the market that enables the creation of spherical panoramas from conventional film or digital cameras and non-fisheye lenses.
The iMove Photo Panorama software allows users to zoom in and out and rotate within the panorama. Multimedia authors can add sound, video and descriptive files or link panoramas together using the included Hotspot Editor. In addition, panoramas can be printed or output either as an iMove panorama or a very tall field-of-view Apple® QuickTime® VR panorama. iMove gives users total flexibility in selecting content and equipment and doesn't restrict the number of images created or request royalties.
In addition, the resulting panoramas can be made small enough to e-mail, post on web sites, distribute on CD-ROMs, paste into presentations or use in printed materials. In addition, they can be viewed and navigated through on either a Macintosh or PC using the iMove viewers and web browser plug-ins available for no charge at www.imoveinc.com.
iMove Photo Panorama software is bundled with the Kaidan QuickPan® Spherical Tripod. Both are available through Kaidan for http://www.kaidan.com
