The Canon PowerShot A1100 IS is a new compact model from Canon that comes in four stylish colors (gray, blue, pink and green). It includes some high-end features, such as a 12.1-megapixel image sensor, 4x optical zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization, 2.5-inch LCD, an optical Viewfinder, and Canon's new "Smart" Auto exposure mode.

The latest entry-level model from Canon, the PowerShot A480 is designed for those who are just entering the digital world or one who is on a budget. While this is a very inexpensive mode, it still offers powerful features including 10.0-megapixels of resolution, a 3.3x optical zoom lens, Canon's DIGIC III imaging processor and a 2.5-inch LCD screen.
