New Camera and Printer Reviews Just Posted

Today we posted the Olympus Ferrari Digital Model 2004 review, this is the limited production version of Olympus' AZ-1, a compact 3.2-megapixel 3x zoom camera all dolled out in Ferrari red with special accent panels and the famous yellow Ferrari horse logo. Olympus is only making 10,000 of these cameras and just 1,000 of them are available in N. America.

And the Samsung Digimax V50 review, a sleek and compact 5-megapixel camera with a 3x zoom and a fully articulated 2.0-inch color LCD. Besides the usual Auto exposure mode the V50 features Scene modes and shutter-speed priority, aperture priority and manual modes as well as lots of other image adjustments.

Posted yesterday is our Epson PictureMate review, a dedicated 4x6" photo printer with card slots and pigment ink for an incredible 100-year print longevity. The PictureMate is a small and portable printer that can operate in standalone mode or connected to Windows PC or Macintosh computers. It can also be connected directly to any PictBridge enabled digicam.

And coming up soon - Minolta DiMAGE Z10, X31 and X50, Fujifilm FinePix E500 and a whole lot more coming up on our radar screen as we near mid-September and the big Photokina show in Germany.
