More Details on Sony's Clip-On DSLR Monitor

Monitor.jpgEarlier this week we got to hear about Sony's plans for a clip-on DSLR monitor, but we were still in the dark on some of the most important information about the product including price and a release date.

The CLM-V55 is designed to work with Alpha cameras and Handycam camcorders and offer five inches of screen with an 800x480 resolution. It can tilt up to 90 degrees and swivel in a full 360.

It simply attaches to an auto-lock accessory shoe or ISO shoe and gets its video signal from your camera via HDMI. Power can be supplied by either a battery pack or AC adapter - both accessories are optional.

US pricing is going to be around $400 when the CLM-V55 comes out in February.
