Microtech Announces New Digital Camera Products
USB CameraMate Reader
Microtech International, Inc. is announcing their newest USB offering for the digital photography market, the iMac friendly USB CameraMate. This compact, cross-platform digital film reader streamlines the process of transferring digital photos from digital film storage cards (SmartMedia and CompactFlash) to USB compatible computer systems. USB CameraMate transfers digital images at speeds of over 30X faster than conventional serial cable downloads.
160MB Digital Flashfilm Cards
Microtech International, Inc. announced a new higher capacity Type II ATA digital film card with the release of a 160MB card, doubling the previous high capacity. Digital FlashFilm high-speed ATA cards were the first PCMCIA cards developed specifically for Fujix and Nikon professional digital SLRs. Available in capacities of 20MB, 40MB, 60MB, 80MB, and 160MB.
Digital Photoalbum Pro
Microtech International, Inc. announced an addition to their family of high-performance SCSI digital film readers. The Digital PhotoAlbum PRO has been upgraded to include a built-in slot for SmartMedia digital film cards and a CompactFlash adapter for using CompactFlash film cards in the Type II/ III slot. This added functionality enables the device to read and format all common digital film cards being used today, including Type I and II ATA Flash PC Cards, Type III rotating DPA "Viper" drives, SmartMedia in 3.3v and 5v up to 128MB (when available) and CompactFlash cards from any manufacturer.
