Many New Camera Reviews Posted

We continue our "series of 3" reviews with three new cameras from Panasonic and three from Olympus. First up is Panasonic's new Lumix LC50, an affordable 3-megapixel, 3x optical zoom compact that's a great choice for family or first-timers that need an easy to use digicam with enough resolution to make 8x10" prints. If you want more resolution and movies with sound then check out the LC50's bigger brother, the Lumix LC70 with a 4-megapixel imager and 3x optical zoom in an identical body design. And, if you want a more stylish camera there's the Lumix FX5 with 4-megapixels, 3x optical zoom and rechargeable battery housed in sleek and durable metal body.

From Olympus we have the super-affordable Camedia D-395, an entry-level 3-megapixel digicam with a fixed focal length lens. This is the digital equivalent to a film point-n-shoot camera, it's very easy to use and offers good image quality. If you want an affordable digicam with a zoom lens then see the Camedia D-540 Zoom, a 3-megapixel, 3x optical zoom compact with very good image quality. Or the Camedia D-580 Zoom with a 4-megapixel imager and 3x optical zoom. All of these cameras are very easy to operate and are lightweight compacts.
