Making a Light Tent Out of Paper and Binder Clips
If you need a light box immediately and don't have one available, there's no need to panic. Blogger Nathan Moroney has created plans for a do-it-yourself light box that's not only effective, but it's made out of common office supplies.
There are a lot of DIY light tent plans out there, but this one piqued our attention due to the simplicity and cost. If you've got some paper and binder clips lying around, you can construct this light box for free. And of course, the tutorial is available directly on the Mostly Color blog.
It may not be the optimal solution, but it works in a pinch, and it's scalable. Though Moroney suggests 11" x 17" paper, 8.5" x 11" sheets would work just as well, with smaller results. You could even switch up the paper color for different colored light boxes.
