Magic Shutter Lets You Watch Long Exposure Shots Happen on Your iPhone

Long exposure shots are a lot of fun to play with and allow you to create motion blur and other interesting effects like painting with light, which has quickly become an internet sensation.

Now you can get those same long exposure effects on your iPhone with a program called Magic Shutter. The app uses some clever programming tricks to simulate the effects and lets you choose from a few different flash modes too.

The best part of Magic Shutter though, is that you can see your long exposure shot as you take it. There's no guess work involved since you can monitor the shot as it happens.

You can pick up the app now from iTunes for $3.00. The program is currently limited to a one megapixel output size, but an update coming in January will change that.
