Macworld Magazine Announces 1998 Editors' Choice Award Winners

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 1999-- Macworld magazine, the leading Macintosh publication and website, has named the hardware and software product winners of its prestigious 1998 14th Annual Editors' Choice Awards. The Eddy Award winners were announced last night in a ceremony at the posh Mercury Restaurant in San Francisco, held the eve of the Macworld Expositions, which opens today.

The Eddy Awards, the Macintosh industry's highest distinction for breakthrough product development and technological innovation, were given to products in 26 categories, honoring the best software and hardware products for business, dynamic media, video, web, publishing, graphics and developer tools. In addition to the 26 award categories, Eddys were given for Hardware Product of the Year, Software Product of the Year, Technology of the Year, and the Impact Product of the Year.
