Lexar Ships 64GB and 128GB SDXC Cards

Lexar's newest cards are remarkable both for their incredible speed and their massive size.

The new 133x Speed cards come in two sizes - 64GB and 128GB. The 128GB card is the first of its kind on the market and is aimed directly at those shooting rapid-fire or producing HD video content.

High capacity is nice of course, but it's nothing without speed, which is something Lexar's cards have plenty of. At 133x speed, they're capable of 20MB/s transfer rates at the minimum.

"With the new Lexar Professional SDXC cards, we developed a product that will enhance the professional photography workflow," says Lexar's Pachi Chen-Wong. "With capacities of 64GB and 128GB, photographers can capture, store and transfer more images and HD video in one place than ever before."
