LetsGoDigital Uncovers New Panasonic Lumix Cameras

Our friends over at LetsGoDigital.org have uncovered a host of new Panasonic Lumix digital cameras. The upcoming DMC-LC1, a 5-megapixel camera with wide 28-90mm Leica lens and very definite Leica body styling like their M series 35mm rangefinder cameras of the past. Major features are lens-mounted rings for both zoom and focus as well as aperture and a top mounted shutter speed dial. Due for delivery in spring of 2004.

The new Lumix DMC-FZ10 which is a 4-megapixel camera with a Leica 12x superzoom lens with the MEGA O.I.S. image stabilization system. The design is similar to the existing DMC-FZ1 model which is very compact for a camera with this long of a focal length lens. Next up are the Lumix DMC-FX5 and DMC-FX1 compact 4-megapixel and 3-megapixel cameras with 3x optical zooms that also employ the MEGA O.I.S.
