Lensbaby Intros a 35mm Optic With 12-Blade Aperture

Lensbaby is all about lenses that allow you flexibility and creativity and the new Sweet 35 is no exception. It boasts an internal 12-blade aperture that takes you from f/2.5 to f/22.

The aperture on the optic is manually selectable and offers a sweet spot that ranges from 15 percent to 40 percent. That sweet spot of sharp focus can be moved around the photo by tilting your Lensbaby lens.

"Changing the look of images from my Lensbaby lens with the Sweet 35 optic by quickly adjusting the aperture dial at the front of the optic has become habit-forming," says Lensbaby co-founder Craig Strong, adding "[it] allows me to create photographs I would never see through another lens."

You can pick up the Sweet 35 Optic now for $180. It's compatible with Lensbaby Composer, Scout, Muse and Control Freak lenses.
