Leica Offers M9 to M9-P Upgrades for a Price

So you've got yourself a fancy Leica M9 camera and the company comes out with an upgrade. You could always sell off that M9 to pick up an M9-P but the amount of time and effort that takes might make it a less than thrilling prospect.

Leica is offering an easier way to upgrade. Ship your M9 over to them, pick from one of two upgrade paths and they'll fix it up and send it on back along with an extra year on you warranty.

The $1,295 upgrade switches out your LCD cover for scratch resistant Sapphire Glass and gives you a choice between vulcanite and leatherette trim. For an additional $700 you can get yourself a new top deck and base plate in either black or chrome.
