Leica Announces Adaptors for Leica S2 Camera System

Leica has just announced the pending release of some lens adaptors for the S2 camera system that will allow users to use lenses made by other manufacturers.

There will be three lens adaptors in all that allow the S2 to be compatible with Hasselblad, Pentax and Mamiya lenses - specifically the Hallelblad V system lenses, Pentax 67 system lenses and Mamiya 645 system lenses.

The recommended price for these lens adaptors is right around $850 and they'll be available in August.
