Leica To Introduce Digital M8 at Photokina
Leica Camera will introduce the new Leica M8 at Photokina in Cologne at the end of the month. This is a 10-megapixel digital camera based on the famous Leica film viewfinder system and will accept all Leica M lenses. This professional digital camera is “Made in Germany” and uses an image sensor specially developed for the high quality requirements of the Leica M system. The combination of Leica lenses, sensor and high-performance picture editing generates outstanding picture quality with a resolution of 10.3 million pixels. The new Leica M8 has a notably low-noise CCD image sensor with a range of ISO 160 to 2500 and is ideally suited to available light photography, a typical Leica M feature.
