Latest Reviews at Steve's
Today we posted our hands on review of Sony's Cyber-Shot DSC-H70, an affordable compact super-zoom with an impressive specs sheet. This unit boasts some high-end features, like 16-megapixels, a 3.0-inch LCD, Sony G 10x optical zoom, and Sweep Panorama to name a few. All for $230 US or less ($209.99 US according to Sony's website). To see our complete thoughts on the H70, check out Steve's Conclusion.
We've also posted some new accessory reviews in the past week, including a hands on look at Gary Fong's Puffer flash diffuser, which is designed to greatly improve upon the output from your built-in flash unit. This diffuser fits various entry-level dSLRs, along with some higher end super-zooms and prosumer cameras that offer a hotshoe and built-in flash. You'll want to check this out for sure if you've got a new dSLR and can't afford an external flash right away.
Lastly, we tested Spider Camera Holster's Black Widow, which is a unique holster system designed to allow you to easily, and comfortably carry around your favorite camera. While created for "lighter weight cameras", the system works great with entry-level dSLRs and EVIL cameras; like the Canon EOS Rebel T3i and Olympus E-PL2.
