Kodak is Finally Bringing the EKTRA Smartphone to the US

Thumbnail image for Kodak_EKTRA_1000px.jpgLate last year we brought you the announcement of the Kodak EKTRA smartphone, which is a new photography/camera based smartphone that was released in Europe in December, 2016. Just a short time later, at CES 2017, Kodak announced that the EKTRA will finally be unveiled to the US market before its US/Canada release in April. 

To recap, the smartphone features a 21-Megapixel main camera, 13-Megapixel front-facing camera, Phase-Detection AF, f/2.2 max aperture, and a DSLR-like Scene Selection dial. It will come loaded with powerful automatic shooting modes as well as a Smart Auto shooting mode, and runs on Android 6.0. It will be available to the US with a MSRP of $549.99.
