Kodak Earns CES 2011 Design and Engineering Awards

Kodak-CES-Awards-2011.jpgKodak might not be a name that jumps to mind as quickly as it once did, but that doesn't mean the company isn't on top of things. They may not be the go-to for cameras anymore and it's been a long time since most of us have used film, but Kodak's got plenty else to offer.

Among those things is the Kodak Pulse Digital Frame, which received an Innovations Award from the Consumer Electronics Association thanks to its built-in WiFi, Facebook connectivity and intuitive touchscreen interface. Even better, it can be assigned an email address that lets you send pictures directly to it, avoiding that whole transfer process altogether.

The Playsport video camera also earned itself an award for capturing 1080p video and five MP stills while at the same time being rugged, durable and waterproof up to 10 feet.
