Kodak Adds Three More Cameras to the EasyShare System

Kodak has added three new digital cameras to their EasyShare system, the Kodak DX3900 (pictured above) is a 3.1-megapixel camera with image resolution of 2160 x 1440 and features a 2x optical zoom (35-70mm 35mm equivalent), settable ISO sensitivity of 100, 200 or 400, white balance options, burst capture, metering options, 8MB CF card and some manual settings. It will be sold both with and without the EasyShare docking station that allows for one-touch automatic downloads to the computer or the Internet.

Next up is the Kodak DX3700, also a 3.1-megapixel camera but it lacks an optical zoom and the other manual features of the DX3900. 8MB of internal memory plus a MultiMediaCard / Secure Digital card slot for additional memory. This is a hi-res point-n-shoot camera.

On the low end is the Kodak DX3215, a 1.3-megapixel camera with a 2x optical zoom (30-60mm 35mm equivalent), 1280 x 960 image resolution, 8MB of internal memory plus a MultiMediaCard / Secure Digital card slot for additional memory. Like the other cameras it can be purchased with or without the Kodak EasyShare docking port.

New Inkjet PapersAlso announced are two new Kodak inkjet photo paper products. Kodak Ultima Picture Paper for Borderless Inkjet Prints, a high gloss paper, provides borderless prints that have the look and feel of professional photographs. Micro-perforated for easy separation, the new paper enables users to create true, 4 x 6-inch pictures. Users simply print and tear along the perforation for crisp, edge-to-edge prints every time. This new paper has a suggested retail price of .99 for 20 sheets.

Kodak Picture Paper for Inkjet Prints adds a new, affordable, matte-surfaced paper to its product lineup. Coated on both sides for versatility, Kodak Picture Paper is ideal for printing two-sided album pages - or any other kind of photo - on medium weight stock. Also available in soft gloss, Kodak Picture Paper for Inkjet Prints has a suggested retail price of .99 for 25 sheets.
