Keep Your Cables Organized With Toilet Paper Rolls

Ah, the toilet paper roll. It's a small cardboard cylinder that's served us well for years as a holder for our TP, a building block for school projects and even as a home for our hamsters.

Now the handy throwaway object can be used for your photography purposes as a cheap and simple cable organizer. Simply grab a shoe box or something similar, a handful of empty toilet paper rolls and put one into the other. Fold the cables, put them in the rolls - it couldn't be simpler.

It's not the prettiest arrangement, but it's easily customizable. You can arrange for bigger or smaller compartments to suit your needs, tape or glue the rolls into clusters to organize cables or whatever else you can think to do.
