P600_RD_frt34r_on_w-thumb-470x382-22764.jpgWe've just competed our tests with Nikon's current mega-zoom digicam, the Coolpix P600. This model offers the most versatile lens in the entire P-series lineup, with an enormous 60x magnification. That translates to a 35mm equivalent focal coverage of 24mm - 1440mm, meaning you have a lens that can cover any situation you find yourself in. Whether you are shooting vast landscapes, or zooming in on distant wildlife, the P600's impressive zoom lens can help you frame the shot. The camera also packs a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor, built-in Wi-Fi, a high resolution 3.0-inch LCD that rotates, full HD video capture, improved batter life (up to 330 shots on a single charge), and Nikon's proven lens-shift VR to help steady those long telephoto shots. All of this is packaged in a "compact" body that offers a DSLR feel.
