Just Published: Our iPhone 5c Smartphone Review

For those who are considering one of Apple's latest iPhone models as their new mobile companion, we've just finished testing the iPhone 5c. The more affordable 2013/2014 iPhone offering, the 5c shares similar specifications to the iPhone 5, however Apple made some small improvements to the camera and battery, along with adding various color options. Under-the-hood, or rather on the back of the phone, is an 8-megapixel camera that offers a BSI (Backside Illuminated) CMOS image sensor mated to a fixed f/2.4 lens. Labeled the iSight camera, this unit offers the highest quality images from the 5c, compared to the 1.2-megapixel FaceTime camera that's mounted on the back (LCD side). On top of capturing still images, you can record full 1080 HD video at 30fps with the iSight, or 720p HD with the FaceTime camera. The phone comes in five attractive colors (white, red, yellow, green, or blue), which allows you to match the 5c to your own personal style.
