Canon_PowerShot_g16_3qflash-thumb-470x383-21460.jpgFor those photogs out there that want a more compact camera, but are not willing to sacrifice in the performance, control, and quality departments, Canon has created their Prosumer line of G-series PowerShots. We've just finished testing the latest addition to this line, the PowerShot G16.

This impressive camera offers various upgrades over the G15 from 2012, including built-in Wi-Fi and a new more powerful processing unit; the DIGIC 6. Like its predecessor, the G16 offers a larger than normal 1/1.7-inch, 12-megapixel CMOS image sensor, which is mated to a fast 5x optical zoom lens (f/1.8 - 2.8). Other appealing features include an optical viewfinder, flash hot shoe, Full HD video at 1080/60p, and a host of exposure modes ranging from full Auto to full Manual.
