G1 X_01.jpgFor all of you photo enthusiasts out there that want dSLR-like quality and control in a more compact platform, you need to check out our Canon PowerShot G1 X Review. Canon's flagship PowerShot camera, the G1 X is loaded with some impressive features for a noninterchangeable lens camera, namely its new 1.5-inch, 14.3-megapixel CMOS image sensor; which is similar in size to the APS-C sensors used in most dSLRs. This sensor is mated to the same DIGIC 5 processor found in their EOS dSLR offerings, giving the G1 X the same level of image quality and shooting performance that one would expect from an interchangeable lens, large sensor camera. Other key features include a fast f/2.8 4x optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch articulating LCD screen, full 1080p HD video, and both fully automatic and manual exposure controls.
