Jessops to Reopen 40 Brick and Mortar Camera Stores

Here's some great news for UK camera shoppers. Jessops, the chain that recently shut down all of its retail locations, is going to reopen. According to The Telegraph, we'll see around 40 stores opening up by the end of the year. This announcement comes just a few months after the assertion that Jessops would be online only from here on out.

The first two shops opened today, four more will be opening over the weekend and by the end of April, 30 Jessops shops will be welcoming customers back. Chief executive Peter Jones says that the chain will be reimagining what it means to shop online, and believe that in-store pickup options will be a boon for the company. The opening of the new stores will result in the creation of 500 jobs, much needed after the recent closing.
