International Garden Photographer of the Year Winners Announced

Garden.jpgThe International Garden Photographer of the Year (IGPOTY) competition has wrapped up and the winners have been selected.

The number one spot goes to UK based Colin Roberts for a sunset shot of Widemouth Bay in Cornwall. He entered in the Wildflowers category, where he also took third with another picture. " The judges all agreed that Colin's photograph, entered in the Wildflowers category, embodies what IGPOTY is all about - great photography and an inspiring celebration of plants," says organizer Philip Smith.

The title of Young Garden Photographer of the Year goes to 15 year old Jamie Unwin. He takes the prize for a photograph of a small wild mouse climbing on a stalk of wheat.
