Instagram Now Boasts 80 Milion Users and More than Four Billion Photos

The desire for faux retro photos that can be shared with friends and family continues unabated. Instagram has just announced that it has passed two major milestones.  Not only does the company have upwards of 80 million users, they also report that four billion photos have been shared out.  That's an average of 50 photos per user.

Between release on Android and closer integration with parent company Facebook, Instagram has managed to add 50 million users in the last four months.  Based on this increase, we're guessing it won't be long until we see news of Instagram hitting 100 million users.
