Inside the Production Facilities of the Leica M9

You don't get much more exclusive than the Leica M9. It's a camera that's far out of the price range for most folks, so most of us will probably never get our hands on one.

You may never shoot with one either, but you can watch as a Lecia M9 is assembled, from start to finish, in a YouTube video detailing the process.

Much of the process is what you'd expect - men and women in white suits and gloves putting together the delicate pieces. And boy are those pieces delicate. There are parts of the camera that measure 0.01mm thick, or around a fourth of the thickness of a hair.
